The surgery is typically performed in an outpatient surgical center or hospital under general anesthesia or IV sedation.
The average time frame for a facelift is three to four hours. Once you are asleep, Dr. Silver will make the necessary incisions and gently adjust and trim the skin and tissues for a more appealing and youthful appearance.
Results and Recovery
Although the final results from a facelift may take a full 2-3 months to see, most feel comfortable enough to present themselves in public after 10-14 days. Considerable bruising and swelling can be expected immediately following a facelift.
