It’s here! The only FDA-cleared fat-reduction procedure that safely uses a controlled freeze to eliminate fat and we are thrilled to offer it to our clients. CoolSculpting successfully freezes and eliminates stubborn areas of fat that seem immune to diet and exercise. Results are long-lasting, noticeable, reliable and proven.

Is it Safe? How Does it Work?

We only offer our clients safe and proven therapies and we are pleased that the CoolSculpting technology safely and effectively delivers results. The CoolSculpting systems have built-in safety measures that shut the system down if it senses that the skin is getting too cold, preventing against skin damage.  Anyone who performs CoolSculpting on you will have undergone intense training and certification to provide optimal safety and results. CoolSculpting should only be performed in a medical office, supervised by a licensed medical professional.

CoolSculpting utilizes cryolipolysis, a proven method of freezing and eliminating fat cells. With its precise technology, CoolSculpting has refined this process and works by targeting stubborn fat cells that lie just below the surface of the skin. This precision not only successfully eliminates the fat cell but does so without harming the overlying skin or surrounding tissue. During the process, the targeted fat cells become crystalized (i.e. frozen), disintegrate and with time are absorbed naturally by your body and eliminated through natural processes.

Who is a Good Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Candidates for CoolSculpting include those who have stubborn pockets of fat that seem resistant to diet and exercise. It is not a treatment for obesity or large, diffuse areas of body and organ fat. CoolSculpting only treats areas of fat just below the skin. If you are in overall good medical health you are likely a great candidate for CoolSculpting. However, those with certain conditions such as cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria should discuss other options with their healthcare provider.

What Can I Expect?

Before your procedure, you will meet with Dr. Silver or an associate to discuss your areas of concern and desired results. Together you will create a plan tailored specifically for you. The duration of the treatment will vary depending on the number of areas to be treated. Most treatment sessions take between 35-60 minutes. Additional treatments may be necessary to reach your desired goals.

During the procedure, it is not uncommon to experience some mild discomfort similar to what you would expect to feel if ice were held to your skin before it becomes numb. This discomfort usually last about for the 5-10 minutes and rarely prevents completion of the procedure. Most of our client read, browse their phones, or even nap during the procedure.

After the procedure, your body with begin to naturally dispose of the frozen and dead fat cells. Although results are not immediate, most clients see positive results within just a few weeks. The most dramatic results are typically visibly by month two, however, the body will continue to eliminate the frozen fat cells for up to 4 to 6 months following a treatment. What’s best is, the results from CoolSculpting are also long-lasting because the treated fat cells are eliminated by the body, they are no longer there. Once the procedure is complete, most clients return to their daily activities and few, if any, restrictions are necessary.
